Hi everybody! I'm Khanh. I just moved here from Toronto 2 months ago. In the first day I was here, I felt the weather in Calgary was different Toronto so much, it was very cold. Althought i have been in Canada for over 1 year, so when i came to Calgary in the first day, I was feeling I am really a new comer in Canada. Everything was too strange, but I saw the people here look like friendly. If you need some helps, just ask someone who is beside you, they will hepl you.
In the second day, i went to some places. I wanted to buy something for my new life in Calgary. The Safe Way where i came first had many kind of food. After that , i came to Rogers store to signed the new plan of cellphone. Then, i went to the Cinema with my friends for watching the movie. That was all i did in the second day in Calgary.
One week ran too quickly in Calgary. In Sept 7th, I had to go to U of C to do some test of EAP program. That was a first time I visited U of C. I have never seen the big University like U of C before. It looked like a small city in my country. My friend told me there were over 20,000 students in U of C, it made me supprise so much. I saw there were 1 Ctrain station beside U of C. I think it was very comfortable for students who were going the U of C by Ctrain.
Now I have studied in EAP1 for almost 2 weeks. I am feeling happy because I am having many friends, who come from many other countries and Dr Scott, who is teaching us in EAP1. Dr Scott is a nice teacher. He teachs us many things about our program. We always have the interesting and funny classday. Everything is better. I think I love my new life in Calgary , i love my class. I wish i would improve my English very quickly , that's good for new student like me. Also i want to have many friends in U of C. That' s wonderful life.
